What is an election?

Everyone says children are a blank slate. What colors do you hope to see in your child's life?
If we all agree that proper values should be cultivated within the family, then let's start the conversation with our children—

The story begins with a little girl's daily life, using an election as an introduction to explain the characteristics and importance of democratic elections, concepts such as "What is an election," "Basic principles of democratic elections," "Unfair elections," and "What is democracy," as well as the foundational background of universal values. Through "questions," children are guided to discuss and practice abstract philosophical thinking. The book also introduces democratic systems in different countries, including child policies, allowing children to ponder: How can my voice be heard?

　　☆ "What is an Election": Using an election as an introduction, it brings out the characteristics of democratic elections, the events and problems that can occur during elections, allowing children to understand the importance of democracy and to think about how to make their voices heard.

　　☆ "What is Freedom": Beginning with a little girl's "freedom" to play on her phone without restrictions, it explains the difference between positive and negative freedom, including whether freedom means "doing whatever you want," the relationship between freedom and democratic systems, and explains the hard-won nature of "freedom," encouraging children to cherish the freedom they possess because of the efforts of those who came before them.

　　☆ "What is Justice": Starting with the goddess of justice, it explores justice philosophically with children, using everyday scenarios to demonstrate overlooked aspects of justice, to avoid repeating the mistakes of Animal Farm and becoming unjust pigs.
