Author: Cathy Evans, children's science writer and doctor. Her works have won the Bank Street Best Children's Book Award. She lives in Bournemouth, UK, and her scientific background and love for animals inspired her to create this book.

Illustrator: Becky Thorns, an award-winning illustrator whose illustrations are bright and rich in texture. She has illustrated several children's books, and the popular science children's book "The World of Whales," which she illustrated, was shortlisted for the 2020 World Illustration Awards.
