Miyazawa Kenji's picture book set Ⅱ

The "Kenji Miyazawa Picture Book Strolls" series is a selection from the Kenji Miyazawa picture book series launched by Miki House in Japan in 1987. Starting with the first book, "The Restaurant of Many Orders," it has continued for over thirty years, with more than thirty Kenji Miyazawa picture books published to date. Featuring over thirty popular Japanese illustrators, the lineup is unprecedentedly splendid, with each book being brilliant! It is arguably the most extensive Kenji Miyazawa picture book publishing project.

This time, Linking Publishing is proudly releasing the Chinese edition. The first wave consists of ten carefully selected books, including works familiar to Taiwanese readers, as well as works that are less known but highly worth reading. Five books are being released this time: "The Nighthawk Star," which is included in Japanese textbooks; the most popular "The Restaurant of Many Orders"; "Ozbel and the Elephant," which fully demonstrates Miyazawa Kenji's concern for the disadvantaged; and "Wolf Forest, Zarumori, and the Robber Forest" and "Penjush Park," which best express Miyazawa's reverence for nature.

The participating illustrators, including Ryoji Arai, Ken Katayama, and Koji Suzuki, are all top-tier artists. The entire series is translated by Lin Chen-mei, a children's literature worker and a big fan of Kenji Miyazawa. This new translation is an unabridged text, allowing readers to experience the authentic Miyazawa literature.

We hope that through the publication of this series, we can convey Kenji Miyazawa's messages and ideals that have spanned a century, allowing Taiwanese readers to once again fully experience the charm of Kenji Miyazawa's works through text, images, and imagination.
