Hong Kong independent photographer Chen Langxi follows "Is Hong Kong Beautiful?" "" and "Unspeakable Power" is the third personal photography collection. The photographer has shifted from exploring social issues to searching within, embarking on a journey of personal memory. His book collects black-and-white images taken on an island in recent years. This intuitive projection frankly reveals the ups and downs and trajectories of a period of time. Each photo seems to be in harmony with the scene in that space. Objects are connected concrete manifestations. The afterimage of light reflected in his eyes is a private scene that corroborates the southern shore of the island.
"I walked slowly along the coastal road from the resort hotel, passed by the beach, stirred up sand with my steps, walked around a few times, and stood there waiting. Then I got on the country road, followed the footprints to the wilderness, and finally met the buffalo A group of people. Some of them rolled in the mud pool to cool down, and some rested at the bottom of the tree, carefree. They would lick each other with their tongues, as if to comfort each other in this absurd era, and care for each other. Their huge bodies have such gentle actions. This is Common to all living things.”
