After its opening in 2005, the live house "Kafka by the Sea" in Gongguan immediately became one of Taipei's iconic independent music venues. This book interviews nearly forty groups of bands, musicians, and artists, asking them to share their youthful memories, attempting to unearth "Kafka by the Sea" from different generations and perspectives. At the same time, it endeavors to collect precious images, striving to leave a testament to the valuable moments of "Kafka by the Sea" before it closed its doors in January 2023.
