An authentic Ukrainian folk tale, pulling out radish is a familiar story that has been passed down orally from generation to generation. It tells an interesting story about everyone working together to pull radishes in the countryside.
When spring came, the old man took out his shovel and hoe, dug a vegetable bed in his garden, and planted a radish. Then the radish sprouted, and the grandfather went to the garden every day to water the radish so that it could grow up smoothly.
The radishes keep growing! Long! Long! Finally it grew as big as the old man's head.
The old grandpa came to the garden happily-hey! Hey!
He grabbed the leaves of the radish with both hands, pulled hard with his hands, pushed hard with his feet, and used all his strength to pull out the radish. The grandfather was sweating like rain and worked hard all day long, but the radish was still stuck to the ground like a tree stump.
The grandpa asked the grandma to come and help pull out the radish, but the radish was still stuck to the ground like a tree stump. Then, one after another, the daughter, puppy and cat were invited to help pull out the carrots. Finally, a little mouse was added to help.
They pulled and pulled, and finally the carrot came out, and everyone stumbled and fell...
