Eyes, ears, mouth, nose

Taiwanese artist Tai Ling-Yu, currently based in Leipzig, Germany, presents "Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Nose," an ongoing painting project. This book features a selection of her sketches of her daughter, Mia. Over the past 20 months since Mia's birth, Tai Ling-Yu has endeavored to capture the growth of her newborn through drawing, while her daughter has, in turn, used her eyes, ears, mouth, and nose to understand herself and the world around her. The gentle touch of a mother on her infant is subtly translated onto paper.
