Toad Palace Incident

Two scientists participated in a clone project, during which they planned to "restart" five clones who had been eliminated, giving them the ability to choose for themselves and start new lives.
 
The surgery was successful, but the nearly awakened clones suddenly disconnected... Their consciousnesses were disturbed by lingering memories of the past. Would they ultimately choose to resist or escape?
 
Years later, the two scientists were still haunted by the failed experiment, feeling a sense of indebtedness. However, after a car accident, they resolutely embarked on a journey to find the five clones. How had these five clones lived their lives?
