As seasons changed, they were gradually forgotten amidst the transformations of human society.
Moyu, a ferryman who wanders the human world, seeks out these lost deities.
With her brush, she listens to and records their stories, guiding them to the other shore before they vanish.
The millennium-old sacred tree of "Shu Ling Ta" (Tree Spirit Pagoda) was cut down decades ago, its body scattered far and wide.
Moyu finds a "piece of wood" on the street. She walks through Dadaocheng, where gods once mingled lively, and sits in a carriage that carries human civilization into the mountains, accompanying it to the former dwelling place of the spirits...
