Speaking of broccoli, it’s because I happened to read a story about the punk rock legend Iggy Pop. If you search for "Iggy Pop Broccoli" online, you'll actually find performance photos of this very stylish singer, shirtless with a broccoli floret hanging around his neck.

Punk and broccoli? How are these completely unrelated things connected? It turns out that Iggy Pop hated broccoli so much that he stipulated in his performance contract that "the promoter must prepare a bowl of broccoli in his dressing room" so he could throw it in the trash before going on stage, as a form of self-encouragement. Over time, broccoli gave Iggy Pop a driving force fueled by his dislike.

This is one of the most interesting true stories I've ever heard, and it's also a very good analogy. Because we dislike something, we procrastinate, but if we can find a way to transform unpleasant tasks into motivation, then we can probably achieve anything. This book aims to help everyone discover this method of transformation.

Following his book "How to Be a Lobster or an Elephant Rider: A Guide to Life Studies for Creative Professionals," Mi Ha further explores ways to overcome "procrastination and laziness." He compiled notes from studying over forty books into six sections: "Career - Inspiration - Body - Growth - Efficiency - Expression," guiding readers to think about how to become a more active creator.

This book is precisely an operating manual that teaches people how to effectively use life-studies books.
