The Document Collection of the Check-in Art Festival "Vol.1 below" records the presence of more than 20 Chinese modern and contemporary art practitioners and dozens of art institutions who are active on the world stage during the short three-day exhibition period of the first Check-in Art Festival. They presented eight art workshops, nine art lectures, three screenings and two theater performances to the public. This "Stay Art Festival Documentation Collection Vol. 1" was written by Shao Nian, the founder of XYZ Lab, and breaks the inherent form and reading method of documents with the design of a pocket book. Thanks to the artists who participated in the collection: Xu Bing, He Kunlin, Shen Bin, Ge Yulu, Zhang Ge, Zhang Wenxin, Chen Menglan, Yan You, Fen Lei, Luan Zhichao, Ye Funa, Shen Chen, Li Liao, Lei Lei, Hao Zhenhan , Cheng Xinhao, Lahei, Zhu Lanqing, Aimi, Yang Tienan, Wang Chen, Fang Yuan, Lin Xuanchi, Hu Jiayun, Han Guidong, Tong Yuewei, and Yu Kexin for their contribution and revision of the literature content.

Going further, the most original motivation for publishing this "Stay Art Festival Documentation Vol. 1" is that we are well aware of the difficulties and hardships faced by organizing an art festival in a city that is not an art center. Therefore, when Stay Art When the festival appears with a standard and attitude that does not cater to the market but starts from the self, I think this is also the mission of every colleague in the art industry - to jointly build a platform for people who love art to express their voices and communicate with each other. . Therefore, we recorded the activities that took place in these few days and compiled them into a collection of documents. Just like the volume it holds in the hand, like a small brick, we hope that it can be appropriately placed on the foundation of local art practice.
