"Unbelievable Friends" is based on Awaji Island, Japan, and records a 20-year friendship story.

Elementary school student Ohta Yusuke moved to the island with his family and met his classmate Xiao An at school. Xiao An is different from others. Sometimes he will climb on the wooden frame and talk to himself, and sometimes he will say some strange things.

It turns out that Xiao An is autistic, but his classmates don't care. When Xiao An does something wrong, everyone will teach him patiently; when Xiao An shouts loudly, everyone will wait silently for him to calm down.

Later, everyone grew up, and not everyone in society understood Xiao An, but if possible, Yusuke wanted to stay with Xiao An to protect him.
