Masayoshi Nakajo, a giant in graphic design who laid the foundation for Japanese design. Its design style is calm and steady, and it is good at using and organizing the typesetting between words to give a completely different visual viewing experience. As for painting, his brushstrokes are soft and colorful, and his painting style is delicate yet childlike. Design and painting seem to be the rationality and sensibility of Masayoshi Nakajo, which has shaped the unique influence of "Nakajo-ryu" and has become an inspiration and treasure for the younger generation of designers.

This book "絵の中に入る", like his famous book, collects the cover paintings that Masayoshi Nakajo provided for the magazine "Twilight No Hands" every month from 2007 to 2019. After 12 years of non-stop creation, there are a total of 75 works, inviting you to enter the world of Nakajo's paintings.

Masayoshi Nakajo was born in Tokyo in 1933. He graduated from the Design Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. He passed away on October 26, 2021. He joined the Shiseido Publicity Department in 1956, became an independent designer in 1960, and established Nakajo Design Office in 1961.
