The 640-page book "Nakajo" is a comprehensive collection of the career highlights of legendary Japanese graphic designer Masayoshi Nakajo (1933–2021), from the 1960s to his final works in 2021. He created outstanding designs for numerous influential companies, magazines, products, brands, and public institutions, leaving a profound mark on Japan's visual identity. Throughout his career, he continuously innovated and introduced novel ideas. This book not only focuses on significant milestones (such as the logo for Tokyo's SPIRAL building in Omotesando and the new logo for the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo) but also evokes memories of his rich, diverse, and imaginative design works spanning over 50 years.

The book, which took eight years to produce by Kaoru Kasai and Kazunari Hattori (Hattori was personally selected by Masayoshi Nakajo to oversee the design), includes an overview of Nakajo's career, articles by designer Yoshio Hayakawa and art director Iwao Hosoya, and Nakajo's own writings from 1998.
