After the nuclear war, radioactive fallout drove the animals on the earth to the brink of extinction, and the earth was no longer suitable for human habitation. In order to encourage the remaining population to immigrate, the government promised that as long as everyone immigrated to an alien planet, each person would be automatically equipped with a bionic person to help them live. The androids were not satisfied with the status quo of being enslaved by humans and tried every means to escape back to Earth. The protagonist of the novel is a bounty hunter who specializes in hunting down escaped androids. During a chase, Rick encountered a new challenge from a new type of bionic man. After nine deaths, can I live a life? In the contact and competition with androids, Rick found that his views and attitudes towards androids had changed greatly. Is this change a blessing or a curse?
