Like much of the world, political life in India has entered a new era following globalization since the 1990s. This series uses a montage method to boldly collage the text and image works of Indian scholars, artists, writers, and activists during this period, launching a great debate across different political stances.

The word "people" is used throughout the text and images in the book: the national narrative abstracts the "people", reducing the people to national assets under biopolitical technology and turning them into victims/beneficiaries who want others; language, nationalism Being entangled with ideology may cause the rationality of media reports to collapse, breed all kinds of stereotypes and stigmas, or lead to an explosion of diversity, stimulating various records and meanings circulating among the people; how can activists act as heroes? As a strategy, readers are invited to rehearse the basic rights of citizens, reminding the people to keep a sharp eye and combine "dedicated politics" with "the reality of daily life."

"As our ability to imagine stable utopian futures fades, what appears to be taking its place is an astonishing textual foresight. Texts and images from other times seem to want to say something that even the creators of the situation could not foresee. thing"
