Seven Days in Riyadh

Seven Days in Riyadh is a non-fiction short book chronicling the seven days in November 2024 when the author, representing 51 individuals, was invited from Hong Kong to Riyadh for the inaugural Saudi Paperback Art Book Fair. She meticulously observed and documented the book fair itself and Riyadh beyond it—the staff, readers, locals, and foreigners. Within a concentrated yet highly sensitive personal experience, she conveys the state of a Middle Eastern nation striving for greater openness in culture and art, and the condition of its people at this moment.
