A painting? Or a book? MVSEVM, a museum, is an adventure of images, where reality and art exchange roles in the frame.

What is a museum? Is it a place to store images? A window to observe the world? Or a modern Plato's Cave? Is it a place that summons reality or is it just a simple projection of a painting? The protagonist of this book is a wanderer. The character setting is inspired by the American painter Edward Hopper. One day, he accidentally enters a strange building. Inside the building, everything seems to happen at the same time. .

MVSEVM Museum is a humorous and mysterious wordless picture book that will enchant and fascinate art and film enthusiasts. The images in the book pay homage to American painting by incorporating the surrealism of the Belgian painter Magritte and the horror and suspense atmosphere of the British and American film director Hitchcock. These mysterious elements are all It is reminiscent of the short story collection "Labyrinths" by the Argentinian writer Borges.

The idea for this book comes from the talent of Javier Sáez Castán, the Spanish National Prize winner and author of the picture book series "Maestro", plus Manuel Mar Manuel Marsol's stunning painting performance (painted on wood) once again, this book won the first prize in the 2020 Bologna Book Fair's annual theme - film category.
