Think outside the box, accept yourself, appreciate differences
Everyone has wanted a different feeling.
For example, not wanting to wear the same uniform or do the same homework every day.
Although it's understood that in a group, you should try to be like others (why?), it can get tiring after a while!
Is there anything wrong with just wanting to add a little creativity to life, or enjoy oneself, or love oneself a little more?
Can one just directly express their true feelings?…
Perhaps everyone has thought similar thoughts and asked similar questions, and everyone has experienced the struggle between doing and not doing.
Through the dialogue and collaboration of text and images, each spread in this book features self-questioning text on the left page that brings out feelings and perceptions about things, followed by playful, humorous, and even somewhat absurd image designs on the right page. Through a series of "oddballs" in the eyes of their peers, these images break the uniform and consistent picture, not only highlighting the individual's desire to "be different" and offering empathy and acceptance to "outsiders," but also prompting us to ask ourselves with a knowing smile: Do I dare to express my own thoughts? Do I also want to be different? And when we encounter people, things, or matters that are out of the ordinary, how do we react? Do we cast strange glances? Or do we follow suit? Do we admire and appreciate, kindly care, or coldly reject?…
Being different may not be about being unconventional or seeking novelty, but rather about allowing everyone to be closer to themselves and find their own suitable direction and pace!
