Internationally renowned picture book creators Mac Barnett & Carson Ellis,
A heartwarming fable created by two Caldecott winners!
A life question everyone wants to know, but is the hardest to answer.
Your own answer can only be found by yourself.
[About the Book]
One day, a curious boy asked his grandma, "What is love?"
The boy thought that with his grandma's age and experience, she should be able to answer this difficult question.
But his grandma told him, "I don't know how to explain it to you."
And advised the boy, "If you go out into the world and look around, you might find the answer."
So the boy went on a journey.
During his journey, the boy met many people and asked them all, "What is love?"
The fisherman told the boy, "Love is a fish."
The actor said, "Love is applause."
But the cat said, "Love is the night."
The carpenter told the boy, "Love is a house."
Everyone shared their own answers and tried to explain them to the boy, but the boy couldn't understand any of it.
He even felt that perhaps no one truly knew the real answer...
As days passed, the boy grew older, and feeling disappointed and empty-handed, he returned home.
And just before he stepped through the door, the boy realized he already had the answer in his heart.
