　　"The Talkative Cat" portrays the warm dialogue between a cat-slave owner and their pet cat, implicitly commenting on the closed-off, rigid, and indifferent nature of city life. It is a famous poem by the renowned Chinese-speaking writer and poet Xi Xi (1937-2022). Picture book artist Janas Lau, with her uninhibited creativity, depicts the cat-slave owner's gentleness, protectiveness, and patience towards their pet cat, leading readers on a fantastical urban adventure with the adorable felines. Hong Kong's unique and stunning cityscapes transform into a playground for the cat and its owner!
