Are we there yet?

　　Traveling has become a daily routine for modern people; everyone is always traveling domestically or internationally. However, do children who travel frequently nowadays truly understand the meaning of travel? This book, "Are We There Yet?", will lead children to ponder this profound and timeless question.

　　Butterfly is about to embark on a wonderful journey, and he invites Bear, who has just awoken from hibernation, to join him. "Where are we going?" Bear asks. Butterfly simply replies, "Every journey has a destination with a hidden meaning." And so, Bear and Butterfly set off. Along the way, Bear has many worries; he is afraid of getting lost and of not reaching that unknown destination, always asking, "Are we there yet?"

　　Butterfly always guides Bear forward like a sage. For example, when Bear is afraid of getting lost, Butterfly tells him, "Sometimes, you have to get lost to find yourself." And when Bear hesitates at a rapid river, Butterfly encourages him and crosses the river with him. During the journey, Bear climbs a high mountain and looks down, seeing a beautiful scenery he has never seen in his life; when looking up at the moon, he realizes his own insignificance. Throughout the journey, he experiences the changes of the four seasons, sees the cycles and fluctuations of life, and the endless vitality of nature. After traversing rugged paths, climbing high mountains, crossing rapid rivers, and seeing all the magnificent landscapes of nature, Bear no longer asks, "Are we there yet?" Because that question is no longer important. At the end of the journey, they return home. Bear says it smells like home, but it's not quite the same as when he left. Butterfly replies with a wise saying—"When your perspective changes, you will see a different scenery." Then, Bear bids Butterfly goodnight and enters hibernation once more.
