I travel my way

Widely shoots for magazines, advertisements, and artist portraits, especially the Japanese photographer Tomoki Kuwashima, who is famous for his portraits. Since his marriage in 2014, he has taken pictures of his wife and actor Yumi Adachi every day. Sang Dao organized these daily fragments into a photobook "I, Me", and after a year, it was published as a continuation series of "My Travels (GA RYO GA KO)"-about the daily life of journeys before and after the world changes.

This book collects four photography trips from 2014 to 2018: France, Poland and Germany, Okinawa, and Spain. As an actor, even in a private state, Anda Yumi always attracts attention; until she was walking in a foreign country when she was finally able to act in a personal capacity. Relaxed posture and expression, no real chaos or tension, purely the time spent together between husband and wife, these images faithfully record the rare moments in daily life, and are reflected by the extraordinary brought by travel.

However, due to the novel coronavirus epidemic, "travel" suddenly disappeared from this world. The photos taken from April 4, 2020 to August 16, 2020 in "My Journey, My Travel" reflect a time when daily life has become different. Anda Yumi's expression of isolation from the outside world reminds people of the days of traveling in the past—their journey is still going on.
