I am a child and I have the right to participate in culture

Strolling through the realms of dance, music, painting, drama, and more, we discover a variety of beautiful and touching experiences hidden behind the word "culture." We dream of a day when all children in the world can grow up in a free environment and be nurtured by the works of scientists, street performers, and artists.

This book starts from the "right to participate," one of the four fundamental children's rights in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, explaining that every child has the right to be nurtured by their mother tongue, folk songs, art, drama, music, and so on. Because only by understanding their own national history and engaging with other children and their cultures can children find their place in the world, their foothold, and most importantly—their future.

Through her words, the author tells us that children should not only have the right to education and the right to learn art and enjoy cultural life, but also the right to learn how to communicate with the world through creation, the right to dance and sing freely when happy, and even more, the right to discover the beauty of this world with their own eyes.
