Pick up your pen and write—
Don't constrain yourself with existing writing models or standards;
Don't worry about the length of the story, typos, or grammar;
Fragmented sentences, simple or absurd plots are all fine;
Just—
Take ten minutes to follow the simple steps,
Write your story, and understand your life.
Just write honestly, easily, and freely.
"In days of anxiety, uneasiness, and anger, in a world that seems to be falling apart, can we still write freely? How can we put our thoughts into writing and release them through writing?"
Author Miha and play therapist Liane Chin-yu were curious about these questions and personally practiced writing to process their past traumas, present disappointments, and future worries. This book presents exercises for "caring for your mood through writing."
Master of narrative therapy, Michael White, said that we can "understand our lives by telling our lives as stories." This book contains 50 thematic short essays. After reading each article, readers can follow the writing exercises designed by the author to write their own stories, understand their lives, and soothe their personal feelings.
