"Long" is a Chinese boy who moved to Japan with his family shortly after birth. Due to a sudden change in his father's career, he relocated to Northeast China without knowing a single word of Chinese. Although it was the 1990s, the local people's memories of the Japanese invasion of China were still strong. The clueless Long could only try to understand the source of the hatred from the incomprehensible insults. However, when Long returned to his birthplace, Hong Kong, with his family, his "from Japan" identity was met with a completely opposite gaze from his peers.

How should people define themselves and others?

Hong Kong cartoonist Liu Kwong-ching bases this work on his own growth experiences, using the ever-changing environments and the experience of labels being attached and then torn off. Through the adolescent eyes of Long, he reinterprets how a person self-identifies, explores the world, and constructs their understanding.
