The pandemic was unbearable. The day "work from home" was announced, I immediately ordered these two books from an online bookstore. One of them was Chen Pei-Hsiu's "It's Good Enough for Now." I had seen it on social media recently, and a good marketing blurb read: "Nine moments from alleyways and streets, nine daily routines of Taipei women." I was curious to see how much I, as a Taipei woman, could relate to it.
