The recorder, Erica.T, has been exposed to the Wang Chau issue since July 2020. During the final stage of the six-year land resumption, she went deep into three villages to witness and record the entire removal process. This special interview journal records the Wang Chau issue that once existed in Hong Kong. Three Villages sincerely records all the conflicts and harmony, destruction and beauty that have occurred here; plus follow-up interviews, it tracks where the villagers went after they moved out of their homes.

The book has a total of 208 pages, including documentary photos (93 frames) and light text (22 articles). The size is a small hand-readable book (116x166mm). The design is based on the presentation of the harmony, simplicity and disappearing illusion of the countryside.
