This zine weaves together archival materials, literary works, and historical photographs from field studies to recreate the lives of Tanka women and their experiences in a nomadic space. The book is organized into four chapters, following the style of traditional book volumes:

1. Exploring non-land, water-based spaces and documenting the physical labor of those who live on water.

2. Reconstructing literary texts to examine the emotions and intimate relationships of a life lived on water.

3. Investigating marginal spaces and discussing the formation of ethnic identity and subjectivity.

4. Reflecting on the tension between modern urban planning and life on the water through field interviews.

The book's binding design utilizes various paper textures, such as Xuan paper and newsprint, and is hand-bound with thread. As readers handle and turn the pages, they will experience varying tactile sensations, allowing them to personally feel the drifting life on water, the marginal existence, and the interweaving echoes of boats and flowing water, past and present, across time and space.
