I want to paint a punch of bloody pomegranates, in this pale morning light
Piecing together every pulpy, crystal-clear seed of the heart, I want to steal your beach,
To make you encounter on my body
A sweet shipwreck

This is a poetry collection born from chaos and nightmares, and a work about "how to stay, how to continue."

During his years abroad, the poet observed the pulses of different regions with keen sensitivity. The contrasting ideologies between islands, peninsulas, and continents collided, weaving a unique rhythm and tempo. Experiences of viruses, technology, politics, and daily life transformed into profound reflections within the lines of his poetry.

The ever-disappearing streetscapes and fleeting scenes from childhood memories reflect the unique "countdown" concept of time in Hong Kong within the poems. The giant ferns of his hometown, like remnants of the dinosaur age, are strangely juxtaposed with betel nut stands in the city and the wild, surging songs of the internet world. These chaotic and nightmarish elements are not just the backdrop for creation, but also become a code for thought, carrying the weight of "love" and "reluctance to let go."

In the process of writing in a foreign land, his mother tongue suddenly surfaced from deep within his body, bringing a new dimension to his creation. As an "outsider," the poet discovered that speaking "a language no one within a hundred miles understands" became a necessary form of expression. This is not only a dialogue with the present but also a reunion with his past self.
