Since Portugal transferred the exercise of sovereignty over Macao to the People's Republic of China in 1999, Macao has remained deeply influenced by Portuguese culture. To this day, these preserved, unique essences continue to hold a significant place in various aspects of Macao.
This newly published book aims to provide readers with a way to foster greater respect and appreciation for the unique aspects of Macao's cultural heritage, establishing the status of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

"Macao's Portuguese Heritage – A City of Precious Treasures" is illustrated with many vivid photographs. The content is drawn from the author's academic lectures at the University of Aveiro and the Lisbon Naval School, as well as a chapter from the magazine "Nations and Cultures" published by the Catholic University of Portugal.
