Mmm, Macau: Exploring the Olfactory Landscape of Macau

This book is a companion to "Sniffing萌: Contemporary Olfactory Art, Technology, and Everyday Life." It shifts from the digital technology explored in the previous work to the real world, examining various scents in urban life and touring the city's olfactory landscape. Taking Macau, where the author grew up, as an example, it discusses how to understand scents, the world, and oneself through the sense of smell, from three perspectives: smelling a scent is a scent, smelling a scent is not a scent, and smelling a scent is still a scent. By reading this book, readers can understand the cultural context behind cities through experiencing everyday smells, and subsequently discover their inner selves.
