Eleanor Goodman translates 33 bilingual poems by Hong Kong poet Lo Kwai-cheung, which illuminate Hong Kong through the lens of popular culture, fine art, politics, interpersonal relationships, literary theory, and feminism. The poems were originally written in Chinese. This book is one of several publications in the Hong Kong Literature in English Translation series, among the first works to mark Hong Kong's presence on the international cultural map through literary translation. Other works in the series include Xi Xi’s poetry collection, *Not a Word*, and Liu Wai-tong’s poetry collection, *Wandering Hong Kong with Ghosts*.
