Yet after meeting,
We become unique beings.
── "Collision"
Huang Min-hao uses language as fluid as song to tell of the emotional imbalances and struggles. The verses juxtapose contrasts and disequilibrium, like drunken murmurs on a balcony late at night, or a solo performance on stage, confessing under the audience's gaze and the confined spotlight, making loneliness permeate the air like dust.
We are all born lonely. As life is constantly pushed forward by time, it's like moving from one city to another lonely city. We only hope to find a place on this desolate island where we can reside permanently.
Huang Min-hao has condensed fifteen years of life's journey into this collection of poems. Occasionally, he tiptoes to look out, but it's still a barren landscape.
If I scream with all my might, would you wave your hand?
If you're also sleepless, could we snore together?
