●Content Introduction
For everyone who is both introverted and extroverted
~ Alone, but not lonely ~

Mimi is a happy snail.
She loves playing with her friends and being with her family,
But sometimes, she also wants to be alone.
When that happens, Mimi quietly slips away and hides in a quiet place,
But no matter where she goes, she always gets found.

"Why do I always get found whenever I hide?"
"You leave a trail everywhere you go; we just follow it to find you."

"How can I ever have my own space?"
Mimi thought long and hard, wandering aimlessly back and forth, and when she wanted to go home, she realized she was lost.
Just then, she met her good friend Bob, who was enjoying his leisure time. He told Mimi a great idea...

"Mimi the Snail Wants to Be Alone" is a work born from author Siki Hanauer after the pandemic. As an extrovert, she suffered during isolation because she couldn't go out. However, after everything returned to normal, she also deeply missed the time she spent alone to recharge.
Following "Messy Pockets," a story about the growth between parent and child cleverly incorporated into a kangaroo mother's unique pouch, she transformed her feelings during the pandemic into a story based on the characteristics of a snail. From a snail that slides around, constantly leaving clues of its passage, and the dilemma of not being able to fully have its own space, she found an invisible solution, creating a world where introversion and extroversion coexist.
