Legendary Chinese novelist Zhong Xiaoyang's latest short story masterpiece after ten years, the creative dialogue between the mysterious and talented Hong Kong literary girl Zhong Lingling and Zhong Xiaoyang uses a book to tell the story of an era and talk about themselves. It's her new beginning, and it's hers.

"I made a joke with Xiaoyang earlier. I said that this time, your readers will be forced to read me. She replied: Not necessarily.
Everyone knows that the author's name comes from practice. If you can't read half of it, read me.
You must read with the awareness that not all authors write in the same way, and therefore there is reason to believe that not all people read in the same way. "--Zhong Lingling

"Long time no see again, how are you all?
Fortunately, I have written something in the past two years, all in this little book.
Because it was co-written with a good friend, it has special meaning to me. I'm glad it's done.
Next, it’s your turn. "--Zhong Xiaoyang

Romantic poet Shelley said: "Poets are like nightingales singing in the dark, soothing the loneliness of life with their beautiful voices." In his representative poem "To a Skylark", the skylark is used as a metaphor for art that is free from any constraints and is natural. Hong Kong writers Chung Hsiao-yang and Chung Lingling met at a farewell dinner hosted by a friend in 1981, before Chung Hsiao-yang published "Parking and Asking Questions" and was preparing to go to the United States to study film. After that, 18-year-old Zhong Xiaoyang became a legendary writer. In 1986, Zhong Xiaoyang returned to Hong Kong, and Zhong Lingling, who was working at the literary magazine Suye at the time, contacted Zhong Xiaoyang again on official business, which started a friendship between the two that lasted for more than 40 years. In 2023, the two co-wrote a small book to explore life and creation, and trace the past trajectory in order to continue writing. Creation is a gift of time.
