Fish are meant to swim

If one says, "Fish are meant to swim," why is that poetry? Poetry has always been the least accessible; seemingly doing nothing, yet achieving much.
Refined words hide what one wants to say within the poem; then, the reader imagines, speculates, and imagines again. The feelings that linger in the heart, whether given by the author or self-generated by the reader, are no longer the keywords. Albert Leung said: "Poetry records the most original and complete state of my thoughts. Poetry doesn't intend to convince you of anything. I don't want to know that I know, and you know. I want to feel, and then you go and feel. Poetry is not an overbearing CEO, unlike our conversation just now, where one reason follows another."
