Education is a field focused on "people," so how was colonial education implemented, and how did the students receiving colonial education and the teachers at the podium think and act?

Since the mid-1990s, Japanese scholar Ken'ichi Takenaka spent ten years conducting oral interviews with over 110 elderly residents of Dalian who had received colonial education. From over 250 hours of recorded oral accounts, he compiled 61 interviews, providing a crucial record of their "personal histories" based on their experiences under Japanese colonial rule during their final years.
