A Cut of Etang

In May 2022, Etang Chen's photography exhibition "A Cut of Etang" was held at nos:bookspace. The photographer personally developed over 350 photographs, each limited to 40 editions, available for purchase by visitors. After purchasing the photos, visitors collaboratively participated in editing the photobook "A Cut of Etang."

After the exhibition, nos:books surveyed and statistically analyzed all visitors' edited versions, selecting the 40 most frequently chosen photos (A Cut) and the 40 least frequently chosen photos (B Cut) to compile the photobook "A Cut of Etang."

The book's pages are horizontally cut in half through the middle, allowing readers to clearly see the significant differences in visitor selections. The design, allowing free flipping of the top and bottom halves, also provides additional reading enjoyment.
