After visiting nine countries, Anno's Journey makes its final stop in the Netherlands. The original artwork for this book was discovered in Mitsumasa Anno's studio after his passing. Based on these sketches, and the place names and explanations he recorded on the original drawings, Anno's Journey X was compiled as closely as possible to his editorial methods during his lifetime.

From the designs of Amsterdam and Tokyo Station, to Keukenhof Gardens, and the many "ANNOs" seen on the canals, Mitsumasa Anno describes the differences and changes between his first and last visits to the Netherlands at various locations, recording his personal experiences and feelings, imbued with rich memories.
