BABEL Higuchi Yuko Artwork

A new edition of the popular artist Higuchi Yuko's "BABEL" art book. In this book, Higuchi Yuko reimagines the worlds of famous painters Bruegel and Bosch, known for their "Tower of Babel" and other works, through her unique worldview. This new edition features a redesigned slipcase, endpapers, copperplate printing, and copyright page.

Artist Higuchi Yuko creates a new fantasy world by depicting paintings and prints by Hieronymus Bosch, a fantastic painter who was popular in Europe in the 16th century, Pieter Brueghel I, the painter of "The Tower of Babel," and contemporary painters influenced by them, all through Higuchi's own worldview. The end of the book also includes thumbnails for comparison with the original works.
