This spring, we tried to start from different heights and angles, inviting many photographers and collectors, as well as former or current residents of Mid-levels, to reconstruct this "Dream of Mid-levels" on 328 pages, going back more than 180 years in the past The emergence and evolution of Mid-Levels over the years, so that people have always yearned to "live in Mid-Levels", what kind of Hong Kong-style complex is behind it.

In the Mid-Levels where Chinese and Western cultures are mixed, city and nature are intermingled, a celebrity and local story related to Hong Kong's history can be unearthed at every step. Building roads and houses on the slopes has also enabled the development of a unique road network and living space in Mid-Levels, witnessing the wisdom of space utilization highly refined by geology, engineering, architecture and economics. Along with old maps and historical pictures, let us relive how Mid-Levels appeared, shaped and changed over the past 180 years.
