Using light and darkness to paint infinite imagination—
Junaida, a highly popular artist, has published books such as "Michi," "No," and "Monster Garden" in recent years. His works evoke mysterious European fairy tales, with intricate characters and backgrounds that construct a unique world where light and shadow coexist and colors are vibrant.
This book was produced in collaboration with Junaida's large-scale solo exhibition "IMAGINARIUM," featuring a selection of works including picture books, art books, and advertising illustrations. It includes the triptych "IMAGINARIUM," specially drawn for the exhibition, distilling Junaida's imagination from nearly 400 pieces.
The book's design was handled by Cozfish, who also designed "No" and "Monster Garden." He particularly used large-format pages to present "IMAGINARIUM," with a composition and printing different from typical art books, making it worthy of careful appreciation!
