I seem to have forgotten how I spent last Christmas, and only by searching through news from a year ago was I able to recall my memories. During that long period when citizens were advised to stay home and "avoid non-essential outings," I went out almost every day, photographing the "closed" signs on shops to document the city's dormant state. A year later, I don't feel like it has woken up. Perhaps it's still sleeping, or perhaps it's slowly dying. Is this "last Christmas" simply the previous Christmas, or the final one?
