MACAU PATTERNS 2.0

This cultural pattern exists in the details of daily life and is also reflected in elements often overlooked, such as doors, railings, windows, and decorative items, which preserve the more intimate, rustic memories of old Macau; at the same time, it is also showcased in architecture, paving, and finishes, interpreting Macau's continuous urban modernization process.

To me, this book is a photographic memoir. Since arriving in Macau in 2016, I have been constantly fascinated by the patterns here. From architectural heritage to tile mosaics, from decorative motifs to paving, these patterns reappear and endure. Over the past few years, I have wandered around the city, deciding to collect these motifs and capture them through images and vector drawings, now compiled in this expanded edition of "Macau Patterns 2.0"." ----- Eva Bucho
