Metax

In the fictional dystopian city-state of Croning, a society greedily dependent on the mysterious natural resource "Metax" encounters a force indifferent to class and status. A chief engineer is responsible for extracting the precious, life-sustaining substance; a police officer investigates the mysterious deaths of royal horses, suspecting a terrorist insurgency; the engineer's daughter, Sabrina, joins a children's resistance organization; and the King secretly manipulates a power game that will forever change the kingdom's destiny. All characters are caught in a maelstrom of violence and faith.
