The story outline is a typical detective story, but set in the future. When Europeans drew this type of work, there were always some shortcomings; the French made it too French, the Italians too Italian, but screenwriter Dan O'Bannon's work was incredibly creative, and Moebius was very interested when he saw it. He published this fascinating work in 1975, featuring psychedelic, chaotic, dirty streets, congested skyscrapers, super-stylish clothing, futuristic flying cars, strange aliens, and bizarre stories.
This story even inspired director Ridley Scott to make the film "Blade Runner."
