No, No, No

No matter what Spider was doing—brushing his teeth, reading a book, or watching a storm—he always thought about Frog at this time. Oddly, Frog wasn't friendly at all. Instead, she was quite rude. She never suggested going for a walk, never cared if others were hot or cold, and most importantly, she always said "no." And she had all sorts of "no's":
A big no,
A little no,
A confusing no,
A mysterious no,
And sometimes even a repeated no, no, no.

Spider wove all these "no's" into his web, but when a storm swept everything away, it brought a new friend who helped him discover the value of "yes."
