Luc Jolivet, a French musician residing in Taiwan (also known as Norman Bambi), not only creates music but also possesses a keen eye for observation. He noticed that Taiwanese people often move their office chairs outdoors for casual seating, chatting, playing chess, or napping. These "extroverted" chairs, as if enjoying life more freely and easily than their counterparts toiling away in dreary offices, captured his attention. Jolivet's observations and photographs over several years culminated in this charming pocket-sized book.
The first edition of "Out Of Office" was originally published by Jolivet himself in 2021, containing only 8 photos and limited to 20 copies. Noshii now presents this miniature edition, expanded to include 43 photographs, perfect for carrying in your pocket.
