This fourth issue, "Spinal Memories," begins with the "spine" as the foundation of life, focusing on the bodily manipulation of "non-human animals," and delves into the issues of perception and empathy. Based on years of shared life or continuous in-depth research, the contributors, through keen observation, educational promotion, painting, delicate writing, and video creation, attempt to loosen and challenge existing "ethical frameworks" and "orderly norms."

This issue does not rush to provide standard answers but rather, by returning to the internal body, views each vertebra as a vessel for condensed human transformation and unscattered memories, drawing inspiration from its incomplete evolutionary flaws and accompanying hidden pains. It is this persistent, ongoing pain that constantly reminds us to re-perceive seemingly distant sufferings; when we attempt to enter the bodies of "others" to truly feel and accept, a slow exchange of form and spirit unfolds, thereby reopening the imagination of a world where diverse species coexist, nurturing a new type of symbiotic relationship that has not yet been named, is more humble, and reflective.
